Chaste Tree (Vitex agnus)

Chaste TreeA wonderful little deciduous tree with an incredible Summer floral display.  Easy to grow in almost any soil the Chaste tree can take care of itself.  Grown as a specimen tree, pruned into a hedge, or in a large container on the patio, this tree is a garden favorite throughout the world!

Chikasaw Plum (Prunus angusti folia)

A native flowering tree with edible fruit. The fruit, although tart, are used to make jelly by folks in the know. Fairs well in sandy soil, and once established need no supplemental watering.

Drake Elm (Ulmus parvi folia)

Drake ElmThis handsome, fast-growing elm makes a great shade tree. Foliage in Autumn turns shades of red and purple. Fast growing and adaptable, there is no finer choice of a shade tree for a small landscape.

Japanese Blueberry (Elaeocarpus decipiens)

This hardy evergreen tree has a narrow and upright form with a graceful branch pattern.  In the Winter it’s covered with cobalt blue berries that are relished by birds.  As Spring arrives old leaves turn shades of red and orange followed by beautiful fragrant white flowers.

Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum)

Japanese MapleNothing brings an informal elegance to a garden quite like a Japanese Maple.  Revered throughout the world with more than 1,000 different cultivars displaying different sizes, shapes and colors.  Upright varieties can get up to 20′ tall while horizontal varieties stay less than 10′.  Growing in partial sun is important here in Florida.  Prune to desired shape or allow to achieve its spectacular natural growth habit.

Loquat (Eriobotrya japonica)

LoquatThis native to China and Japan, the loquat is one of the most talented trees around! Loquat fruit is a tasty treat that can be enjoyed fresh, dried or in jams and preserves.

Red Maple (Acer rubrum)

This beautiful tree is suitable for use as a shade tree and makes a very ornamental specimen with the added bonus of Spring and Fall color. As a native tree, its rapid growth rate and ability to thrive in wet or dry conditions, the Red Maple is one of the easiest trees you can grow.

St. Luke’s Plum (Prunus ceracifera)

St Lukes PlumOne of the most beautiful flowering trees for your yard.  Extremely hardy and easy to grow, this small tree is a great choice for smaller spaces.  Gorgeous white blooms appear in late winter to early spring.  A deciduous tree that will lose its leaves in fall, but stunning new purple foliage will appear after blooming.  This tree will soon become the envy of the neighborhood.

Tabebuia (Tabebuia)

With it’s open rounded shape, moderate size, and spectacular floral display, the Golden Trumpet Tree makes an outstanding specimen in the home landscape.  Leafless when in its glorious bloom, this tree is quite a sight as Winter gives way to Spring, always attracting attention.  The sweetly fragrant flowers last for a month or more decorating the ground beneath with a carpet of yellow.

Winged Elm (Ulmus alata)
